Kleinfunksprecher d - "Dorette"

This was the last new transceiver designed in the Third Reich. The Germans started producing the "Dorette" in October 1944, seven months before the end of the war. This was a small transceiver that was designed to communicate with the Torn. Fu. d2, 10 W. S.c and the Feldfu. f backpack transceiver.

Charles Barger's book "Communications Equipment of The German Army" describes this set below:

The Kleinfunksprecher "d" is a highly compact small portable infantry transceiver capable of operation on Tn (Voice) communication. it can be used in networks with the German radio sets Torn. Fu. d2, Torn. Fu. f, and 10 W. S.c.

The set consists of two parts: the apparatus case, worn on the operator's left shoulder strap, and the battery box worn on the operator's belt.

The following items make up the set: one 1.6 meter band antenna, the receiver/transmitter, battery box, hand and throat microphone, headphones, transport case (Tpka), and instruction booklet D-1037/5.

As requested, I have photographed the battery box in greater detail. Here is the LINK
