This is the standard transmitter for German WWII tanks and other armored vehicles. It is a part of the Fu 5 system that also includes the Ukw. E. e receiver. Both the receiver and transmitter have the same frequency scale and control mechanism. There are two click-stop station pre-sets, and an air core capacitor for matching antenna impendence. The MO is of the Hartley variety with a tapped induction coil in the oscillator tank circuit. |
