Kleinfunksprecher d "Dorette" - Battery Box

By request, I've photographed the Dorette battery box from different angles. The original box shows design complexity even at the late stages of the War. The insulation on the power cable was aged and sticky, which demonstrated rubber decomposition.
Note the ventilation slits, and the stamped areas to help hold the batteries in place. The Waffenamt stamp is interesting because it lacks a rectangular border, the Hoheitszeichen is different as well as the lettering of the stamp.

"Batteriekasten a" - Again note the battery stabilizing stamped areas.

Leather strap for attaching to the uniform.

Top of the box. Two retaining screws for opening and closing the box.

Inside the box is a cardboard holder for the batteries.

The box is completely opened and expanded.

The inside of the lid and front cover. Note the similar type of Waffenamt stamp - but with a border.

View from the front showing both compartments. The front compartment is for the filament battery.

The rear compartment is for the anode battery. Here is a very clear photo of the battery terminals.
